1899 Alfred Cox, Jute Baron buys Glendoick 1919 Euan Cox goes to Burma plant hunting with Reginald Farrer 1929-38 Euan Cox edits New Flora and Silva magazine 1953 Euan and Peter Cox found the Nursery at Glendoick 1962 Rhododendron ‘Chikor’ first bird hybrid named. 1973 Peter & Patricia Cox found Glendoick Garden centre 1973 Peter Cox book Dwarf Rhododendrons published. 1981 Peter Cox SBEC expedition to China, first time to China 1988 Peter and Kenneth Cox book Encylopedia of Rhododendron Hybrids published. 1995 Kenneth Cox leads 1st of 3 expeditions to the Tsangpo Gorges region S.E.
