Christmas Market

A perfect start to your Christmas shopping. Wander through the market stalls sampling free food and drink from specially selected suppliers and browse a fabulous range of gifts. Lots of special offers and fun for all the family.

We've always loved those European Christmas markets - and now we are recreating this at Glendoick.

Tempting aromas, the festive glow, all the wonderful sounds of the season and delicious yuletide treats. Glendoick's Christmas markets will appeal to every one of your senses.
Beautifully decorated stalls will offer handicrafts and gifts, festive baked treats, seasonal sweets and something alcoholic to warm you up!

You'll be able to make up hampers - both gift and food - for those you love and there'll be loads of ideas for you to start your Christmas shopping...

For the foodies among you, we'll have a host of suppliers - both local, national and international - to whet your appetite:

Abernyte Brewery from literraly just 'round the corner! Step mash beers made by increasing the temperature of the mash through a series of rests (sounds very relaxing!) This allows them to modify the way the finished beer tastes and feels on the palate. Only time is used to clarify and condition the beer. It is unfiltered and vegan friendly.

Aelder Elixir Each bottle of AElder is testament to natures’s brilliance. Elderflower, elderberry, botanicals and a dash of Scottish whisky make for a rich smooth and complex liqueur. How can you resist? Hand crafted in small batches. See this video to really get you in the festive spirit!

Allan's Chilli Jellies is Abernethy's answer to all things Chilli - Lots of sauces, jellies and chutneys to taste. Yummy!

Brodies - based in Edinburgh, have over 140 years experience in roasting coffee and blending teas. They will have both on tasting.

Cairn O'Mhor - our nearest and dearest wine producers - will be offering Mulled Elderberry wine and Berry Christmas wine as well as their award-winning cider. Stock up for Christmas....

Cottage Delight - We have stocked Cottage Delight from the very start in 2004. We challenge you to taste everything they have on offer...

Dundee Gin - choose from a classic dry gin or our most popular - marmalade gin liqueur. What could be more Dundonian than that?!

Every day since 2012,  Eden Mill, Scotland's first combined brewery/distillery just outside St Andrews, has been creating and tinkering with their copper vats to bring us fabulously innovative beer, whisky and gin. On tasting their limited edition of the 12 gins of Christmas. Buy while stocks last...

Fraiser Liqueur is a uniquely Scottish drink blending the flavours of premium Scotch whisky with wild strawberries. Fabulous on it's own or ideal for making into cocktails such as a strawberry & elderflower fizz, a Frasier spritzer (with ginger ale and orange)or a Frasier Royal (with champagne and topped with fresh strawberries)

Gardiners of Scotland is a long-established family run business specialising in a wide range of traditional Scottish sweets. Lots to taste...

Heather Hills Farm is a traditional family-run honey farm based in the Highlands of Perthshire producing artisan, raw honeys of fabulous quality and distinctive flavour. Taste their Chestnut Honey among others this weekend.

The Keith Brewery - From this exclusive craft Speyside brewery, we have a delicious blokey line of beers with names like Keith, Frank and Trevor. Christmas boxes available.

The Law Brewing Co. - located in the city of Dundee their mission is to present a Modernist perspective on the craft beer scene. Not tried them before? Here's your chance to re-live those Mod days!

Little Doone are one of Ayrshire's best artisan food producers, producing fabulous award-winning sweet balsamic dressings. You won't know how good they are until you've tasted them.

The potatoes that make Mackie's crisps are literally a stone's throw away from Glendoick. We're proud to have stocked their first ever packets of crispy deliciousness. On tasting crisps, popcorn and chocolate...

Morrison & MacKay - Old Perth Scotch Whisky was originally created in the early 1900's in the city of Perth by the Thomson family, well known grocers in the City. By the late 1970, a rationalisation , sadly, saw the brand disappear. Brought back to life as a blended malt in 2013 by Morrison & MacKay as a celebration of Perth’s illustrious past in the whisky industry, the brand is the only whisky now blended in Perthshire.

The Orkney Brewery housed in the former schoolhouse in Quoyloo, a mile from Skara Brae where they create traditional craft brewed ales, full of flavour using only the finest of ingredients. They will have several, including the award-winning Orkney Gold to taste...

Sloemotion’s Sloe Gin follows traditional kitchen recipes with rich, aromatic cherry flavours from the sloe and hints of almond from its stone that have soothed the spirits of ancient country folk (and their frolicking, furry friends) for hundreds of years. Also on offer: Sloe whisky and brandy and damson gin and vodka...

Summer Harvest were one of the first - and undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best - producers of cold pressed rapeseed oil, all grown and made on their farm in the fertile Strathearn Valley in Perthshire. Not only do they do fabulous gourmet oils, their dressings are to die for.

Tracklements - our favourite is their chilli jam - delicious with hot and cold cuts, fish, sarnies, cheese and more! Lots of other yummy condiments available too - perfect for this time of year.

The Walkers story begins in 1898 when the 21 year old Joseph Walker opened the doors of his own bakery with a loan of £50 and the ambition to bake 'The World's Finest Shortbread'. We'll have it on tasting - a quintissential part of a Scottish Christmas...

The Whisky Sauce Company was born and bred in Broughty Ferry out of a passion for good food and a love of whisky. Made with 100% natural ingredients, you can choose from sweet and savoury, dressings, syrups and vinegars - all with whisky, needless to say...

And on the gift tables:

Botanic Isles - jewellery that tells a story. Each piece is hand-made, eco-friendly and sustainable. The flowers for this jewellery are lovingly hand-picked and then preserved by pressing. It is noted where each seed, flower and shell has come from in Scotland and on what day it was picked & the item made. This story is passed on to the customer, making each piece unique and unable to ever be replicated identically.

Equilibrium are specialists in jewellery. Their products are handpicked and designed by themselves, and are ever changing to keep up with the trends.

Heart & Home are specialists in wax melts, scented candles, reed diffusers and tea lights. They will have gift boxes on offer.

McKelvie Candles are an award winning independent family owned business, with thirty years experience specialising in producing the highest quality, naturally inspired candles and diffusers.

Scottish Fine Soaps blend gorgeous ingredients to create bath & beauty collections that will make you look, feel and smell fantastic. The products are created, desigend, made and packaged just down the road near Stirling.
