Employment at Glendoick

Weekend staff required - now until 31st December

We require a weekend staff to cover the forthcoming busy Christmas period in the garden centre shop and café.

Extra hours may also be available during the week to cover holidays etc. You must be aged 16 or over to apply for this role.

Duties will be varied - in the garden centre you may be operating the tills, pricing stock, keeping the areas clean and tidy, topping up stock, advising customers, helping with the "carry to car" service, loading compost onto trollies etc.

In the café you may be serving coffees, stocking up cakes & drinks, serving on the hot counter, helping in the food hall, clearing tables etc. Full training will be given.

You must be of smart appearance as you will be the first point of contact with the customer.

Hours of work between 9am to 5.30pm (5pm in winter). A soup or sandwich lunch is provided.

Minimum rates of pay apply. Immediate start available.

Please note the X8 bus service runs hourly to and from Perth/Dundee/Arbroath to Glendoick except on a Sunday. Therfore, you must have access to your own transport to accommodate this as Sunday working will be required.

To apply send a current CV FAO Mrs Heather Borderie, Operations Director,

If you would like your name added to our waiting list for opportunities that may arise in the café or garden centre (you must be 16 years of age or over) then please send or e-mail a current CV with full details of the type of work you would like to be considered for, your previous experience (if any) as well as your name, address and contact details to Heather Borderie, Operations Director.

We normally ask applicants to fill in an application form.
