Mail order minimum
£500 ex vat October and March
£250 ex vat November to February. We deliver to UK & Europe.
There are two ways to place an order
1.Via our webshop. This is the best and easiest way to order and there are pictures and full descriptions of every item.
2.Via our excel spreadsheet - click here to take you to the page with the link. Please save this to your hard drive and rename it with your name. Fill out the order, save it and e mail it back as an attachment. There are two speadsheets - one for mail order and one for large specimen plants (for collection only)
Rhododendron Society/Group Orders. We often deliver plants to groups of gardeners, rhododendron societies who wish to club together to place orders, invoiced to and delivered to one address. With group orders the individual customer name can be used on the labels to make sorting easier and we can also provide an invoice broken down by customer. We just ask that the invoice is paid as a whole.
Postage and packing for mail order is extra. Starting at £16 per box ex VAT for up to 30 kilos (UK). 30 kilos allows 10-30 plants depending on the size.
Orders for Collection from the nursery (min £50 ex vat)
You can pre-order/reserve plants for collection October to March. Please allow at least 1 week for us to assemble orders for collection on a specific date.
If you only require 1-2 plants please e mail the garden centre. If the plants are in containers, they can assemble them for collection. The garden centre is open 7 days a week. E mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your requirements. Please note that the garden centre does not carry the full nursery range and some items sell out.
Brexit October 31st 2019
The saddest day in post war British History is almost upon us. The Scots voted strongly to remain in the EU and the likely long term outcome is that Scotland will leave the United Kingdom and rejoin Europe. It has been an embarrassing fiasco for all of us to watch our politicians lie, flounder and squabble with themselves, Europe and the people of the UK.
Meanwhile, the government tells companies to prepare for Brexit and when we ask how they tell us they dont know and cant tell us. So we dont know what will happen after Brexit to plant exporting. For EC orders including Ireland, we aim to have Autumn orders away before Brexit. Norway orders for March 2020 should be unaffected and as before. For Spring orders for EC countries there may be plant health charges to pay. We suspect that a way will be found to keep the free movement of plants in place.
AURICULATUM X SEROTINUM (AFF)
Scented pure white flowers in July-August. Very vigorous, will form huge tree, A hardier and perhaps later version of Polar Bear. This should be one of the most vigorous hybrids ever made forming a very tall and wide tree.
EVERGREEN AZALEA - GLENDOICK® RUFFLES
Tufted purple semi double flowered evergreen azalea with a darker blotch. Compact habit. There is nothing else quite like it. This is one of a number of exciting new tough azaleas in new colour breaks.
RHODODENDRON FALCONERI (ex Hooker)
Huge, long-lasting cream trusses. One of the most magnificent of all species; large rugose leaves with rust-coloured indumentum below. Needs shelter. From the original Hooker introductions at Glenarn.
Evergreen Azalea Glendoick Gardenia
Low growing, flowering in May-June with double huge white flowers which hang down. Flowers look like Gardenias..
