Job description

Full Time Permanent Garden Centre and Foodhall Sales Assistant. This may lead to a supervisory position for the right candidate. Glendoick Garden Centre , on A90 between Perth and Dundee.

30 to 38 hours per week. Working 8 or 10 days out of 14 including every second weekend.

The Role

Customer service on garden centre tills and in foodhall, answering phone.

Qualities Required

Friendly, with strong customer service skills.

Retail skills and experience
This is a physical job on your feet all day. You need to be fit and active with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. 
The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of EPOS systems desirable

Employment at Glendoick Weekend and Till Staff

We need part time and weekend staff to fill future vacancies in our garden centre. 

• You need to be 17+ years of age
• You need to be confident interacting with customers
• We normally ask people to work a set pattern   every Saturday, or every Sunday or alternative weekends for example.
• Buses are not ideal in terms of timing so you need to have some way of getting to and from Glendoick. You may be able to share lifts on some days to local villages like St Madoes, Inchture and Errol.
